How Does God Guide Us?
II Timothy 3:14-17
Pastor Scott Bauman
9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
Charity Lutheran Church offers a variety of worship services to meet the needs of all ages and preferences.
Our main priority focuses on Jesus and the Bible. Pastors at Charity believe that God’s Word is our foundation. Worship connects people with Jesus through prayer, the Word, and music each in a unique style for many personal tastes. Services often include God’s gifts of Communion and Baptism to build on community and family tradition.
Labor Day to Memorial Day
8 a.m. – Traditions - Traditions worship is Charity’s familiar service using these foundational Lutheran elements: the Apostle’s Creed, Lord’s Prayer and traditional confessional liturgy. Common faith hymns connect these elements at this time-honored service.
9:15 a.m. – Shelter - Sandwiched between the early service traditional atmosphere and a contemporary worship hour, Shelter knits foundational liturgy and contemporary worship songs with the occasional familiar hymn.
10:45 a.m. – Nova - For the young and young-at-heart, NOVA couples contemporary music and less traditional elements bringing people together with Jesus in a welcoming casual setting.
6:15 p.m. – WOW Worship on Wednesday - Confirmation students, Senior High students, and their families worship the Lord together in an energetic and creative environment. Learning and life applications are founded on God’s Word. People of all ages will walk away from this service with a better understanding of the Lord and how they uniquely fit into the Body of Christ. Topics relating to middle and high school-aged student are addressed using truths with the message of God’s love and grace at the core.
