WHAT IS ORANGE?
Orange is simple. It’s a strategy. Orange combines the influences of the church (yellow) and the home (red) to have a significantly greater impact on your child’s future. We want to partner with you to help your child develop a lasting relationship with Jesus! NURSERY MINISTRY
We are dedicated to helping every child have an opportunity to experience Jesus Christ in a compelling and engaging way and to allow people opportunities to support and be supported through real relationships. Mission Our mission is to encourage and help lead all children into an authentic relationship with Christ. Nursing Nest Area A nursing nest area is located to the east of the fellowship area outside the sanctuary. Parents or guardians are encouraged to use this room whenever needed to care for their infants. This room doubles as a filming studio and is not suitable for crawlers and walkers. Parents or guardians are welcome to bring their older child to the staffed nursery downstairs and stay with them as long as they wish. Diaper changing stations are located in the restrooms in the fellowship area. Staffed Nursery Care The staffed nursery is located on the lower level in the children's wing. The nursery is open and available during church services unless otherwise specified. Parents and guardians are welcome to join their children in the nursery or to utilize the furnishings. Classroom staff will include one CPR-trained adult and may consist of other adults or teenaged student assistants. All adult volunteers and staff at Charity are required to complete a background check before working with your children. Our caregivers are loving, responsible, and have a passion for teaching and interacting with children. We seek to care for your children within a safe environment, including a check-in-and-out system and a lockdown of the children’s area while in session. Beepers are provided to parents and guardians in the event staff needs to notify them during the worship service discreetly. |
My name is Heidi Brown, and I am the Charity Nursery Director. Charity Lutheran church has been our home church since moving to North Dakota from Minnesota. Charity has provided for us in so many ways, that it is an honor to be able to serve and give back to others. I am married to Jeff Brown and have two children, Emily and Jackson. I have been teaching children for many years in several areas, such as home daycare, preschool teacher and toddler teacher in a daycare facility, migrant school, and now as a nanny. I am so excited to be given the opportunity to teach your children in a religious atmosphere. I believe no child is too young to hear about God and His word, learn songs and pray. Please feel free to contact me to visit further with you. Heidi Brown Nursery Director 701-258-1471 heidi.brown@charitylutheran.org CHECK-IN:
All children in 5th grade or younger must check in at the self check-in kiosks located near the entrance to the children's wing. Nursery parents may then bring their child(ren) to the nursery, where they may also pick them up at the end of service. For the safety of all children and volunteers, the doors to the children's wing are locked once the service begins. The main doors will be opened at the end of service. If you need to enter the children’s area while the doors are locked, please use the doorbell on the right side of the main doors. This is the only accessible door during programming. The north and south entrances remain locked at all times. Forms Registration Baptism Request Volunteer Background Check Transportation and Medical Waiver New Family Member Registration Form |
