Are you interested in overseas mission work? Charity’s annual mission trip to Antigua, Guatemala, might be the thing for you. This trip is open to high schoolers wishing to fulfill their mission trip requirement for confirmation or anyone who desires to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
This trip occurs 10 days annually Tuesday thru Thursday in mid-July. The cost is $2,600 and includes meals, lodging and most costs associated with the trip. Fundraisers begin in February/March and are planned to fully fund individuals.
All participants are required to send support letters asking others to support their trip. This is not always a comfortable thing to do, but an important part of the process. Asking others to pray over your trip, and if possible help fund it, allows them to experience being a part of your personal support team.
Charity teams up with the "God’s Child Project." Their staff has been outstanding and provide safety and support of our team in Guatemala. For more information about God’s Child, check out their website.

Activities in Guatemala
Three days are committed to the greatest task of building a family home. Many families have never slept on more than a dirt floor without a decent roof over their head. While in Guatemala we will also visit a homeless shelter, malnutrition center and help with clothing and vegetable distribution.
We do have fun, too! Over the weekend, we visit some of the beautiful sights of Lake Atitlan and do some shopping. There is never a shortage of activities while in Antigua.
