Charity Lutheran is in its 7th consecutive year of supporting and hosting this ministry. In the past we've ended each final session with a celebration of life and remembrance of loved one with a balloon release or other type of fellowhip gathering.
Though there are several other types of community support groups regarding the death of loved ones, Griefshare is a powerful video and small group, faith-based, 13-week session, that helps deal with grief in a Bible-centered mannerof healing with God's help. Small groups that follow the large group video, are sometimes created by the type of loss to support and help each other moving forward in the journey. Charity, Century and Grace Point currently run this program throughout the year, opening up to the community and surrounding areas. Anyone experiencing a loss through the death of spouse, child, sibling, parent or friend is invited to come. Look for upcoming information in the bulletin for details on who’s currently hosting, time and place, throughout the year. (Note: This is not a divorce care program). If you or someone you know could benefit from this powerful ministry, it truly can help those in need of someone coming alongside in the healing process. Please contact any of our facilitators or Lorri Mittleider at 701-400-1849 or mitlorri@gmail.com with any questions. |
