Covid-19 guidelines for services beginning May 24
2 Services and Livestream at 9 and 11 a.m.
Dear friends and family;
It’s been more than a month since we have gathered as a family at the church, and we miss you. The COVID19 pandemic changed the way we live our lives. With social distancing the new norm, Sunday services, Sunday School, WOW, Bible studies and other gatherings, including weddings and funerals, have been either live-streamed or canceled for more than a month.
During this time, businesses were closed, people worked from home and our entire church was reorganized to stay connected with our parishioners through online resources such as videos and Livestream services. Recently, Governor Burgum lifted restrictions on business closings and quarantines. Some churches immediately opened their doors to the public. Beginning Sunday, May 24, we will be ready to worship in-person.
The staff at Charity has been in serious conversation about how to allow public gatherings while adhering to the Center for Disease Control guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID19.
Please, read the following enclosed guidelines carefully and use your best judgment regarding your safety as you decide to:
1. attend services in person or
2. continue to join us in online worship services.
These suggestions are for your safety and the safety of our staff. Please respect others’ wishes to social distance or wear masks during services. Minimally, these guidelines will be in place for our summer worship schedule.
Hopefully, as the COVID19 virus becomes less of a threat to our members, especially those at-risk and members over 60 years of age, these guidelines will be revised. Check the website at www.charitylutheran.org; tune into the noon chats Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays from 12 to 12:35 p.m. or call the church office at 701-258-1228.
Your continued prayer and support as we navigate unknown territory would be greatly appreciated. We are RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW!
