Update 11/10/2020
Charity is moving forward this week with in-person Middle School and High School programming tomorrow evening, November 11th. This does NOT include a WOW service, only Middle School and High School activities. Charity is also moving forward with in-person worship services on Sunday morning, November 15th. We’ll be following guidelines regarding social distancing, hand sanitizing and strongly encouraging face coverings. We’d like to thank you for your patience as we navigate these sometimes choppy waters together. We are continuing with online-only for pre-school and elementary children, and as always, we are providing the online worship service option for our Sunday services at 9 and 10:45 a.m.
Update 11/3/2020
Leadership and staff want to be responsible and transparent in our service to each other, and to you, our faith family. In the past several days three Charity staff members have tested positive for COVID-19. With other staff quarantining as a result, the decision has been made to cancel the Middle School and High School programming for tomorrow, Wednesday, November 4, as well as in-person worship services this coming Sunday, November 8. The Sunday services will be live-streamed online at 9 and 10:45 a.m. as normal, allowing just a few people in the building to accomplish that. We will use the next several days to clean rooms and commonly touched surfaces at Charity. Small groups will be allowed to continue meeting throughout the week if they choose to do so, with the encouragement for social distancing, face coverings, and wiping down tables and chairs when done.
We want to be able to worship and fellowship together so much, but we also want to be responsible and provide a safe place to be. Please pray with us as we strive to do both in the best way possible. Our next update will occur on Tuesday, November 10.
Sincerely, Pastor Scott Bauman

Covid-19 Update 10/16/2020
Greetings Charity Family!
Charity staff and leadership have been following the COVID-19 status pronouncements from the Governor's office, as well as consulting with several area churches regarding the high risk designation for Burleigh County. Please be advised that Charity will be going to full online worship services and Sunday school classes on both Sundays and Wednesdays starting this Sunday, October 18, which means no in-person worship or Sunday school. If you have been meeting at Charity on a weekly basis for other purposes, your group will receive a separate email.
This decision has been made with much thought and prayer, and will be evaluated weekly on Thursdays. Our plan is to maintain the "online only" approach so long as the Burleigh County risk level is at High (Orange) or Critical (Red), and we will continue evaluating this approach on a weekly basis. We are in the process of updating our COVID-19 guidelines page on the Charity website, so please check that page and your email for future updates. We feel blessed that Charity has made the necessary technological investments, so our faith family can continue to stay engaged online for worship and Sunday school.
Please stay encouraged during this time. We are all looking forward to when we can get back together in a safe manner, but in the meantime, take the necessary precautions and stay safe!
Blessings to you and your family,
Pastor Scott Bauman on behalf of Charity Staff and Leadership
