Rob lives in Mandan and works for the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction. He says one of his major accomplishments was raising and homeschooling his three adult children, all living in California. Originally from the east coast, he considers moving to the west coast and then settling in the Midwest as another milestone in his life. As children of immigrants, Rob and his siblings were the first generation in the family to go to college.
He has been at Charity for six years and turned down previous opportunities to serve in the leadership of his church when was raising children and chasing a career. The time finally arrived when Rob felt he could devote his time and talents to serve his church home in a leadership capacity.
Rob is also active in the community and serves as facilitator and board member for Beginning Experience, providing support through the grieving process for people who have lost a spouse through divorce or death. He also served on the board of the Bismarck/Mandan International Club.
In his spare time, Rob enjoys cooking, coffee with friends, reading and fixing things around the house.
“Charity has been a refuge for me in times of despair, and I pray that our church continues serve that role to those seeking love, purpose and value in their lives,” he said.
