SUNDAY SCHOOL

  • Kingdom Builders (Sunday School) features 2 sessions beginning Rally Sunday: Sept. 12! 
    • Session I begins for those age 3 (after July 31, 2010) through grade 8 @ 9:10 a.m.
    • Session II begins for those age 3 (after July 31, 2010) through grade 8 @ 10:40 a.m.

ADULT ED

  • Adult education classes - check the bulletin or call the church office 258-1228

Wednesday Evening Schedule

W.O.W. , Confirmation, King's Camp and small groups return on Rally Wednesday: Sept. 15.

  • 5:15 – 6:30 p.m. – Dinner is served in Fellowship Hall
  • 5:45 – 6:30 p.m. – Bingo, movie, nursery supervision available for children downstairs.  Parents sign children in and children stay in that area.
  • 6:00 p.m. – Confirmation, Bible studies, small groups begin.
  • 6:10 p.m. – WINGS children say their verses to their listeners
  • 6:30 p.m. – Wednesday King’s Camp and nursery supervision II begins
  • 7:00 p.m. – W.O.W. service begins, Bible studies, small groups begin.
  • 7:55 p.m. – W.O.W. and confirmation end
  • 8:00 p.m. – Wednesday King’s Camp and nursery supervision II ends

KING'S CAMP

King's Camp begins on Rally Wednesday - SEPTEMBER 15. Schedule:

  • 5:15-6:30 Supper is served upstairs in the fellowship room (suggested donation)
  • 5:45 Bingo, a movie, and nursery are available downstairs. Children are not allowed downstairs until this time. Parents need to check their children into one of these areas. The children will need to stay in one of these areas and will not be allowed to change placed.
  • 6:10 WINGS - These registered children go to the Craft Room to say their verses
  • 6:30 Preschool and kindergarten children will go to their classrooms.
  •  At some point, they will have a large group music and game time together. They may join us for the final celebration!
  • All crew leaders and children grades 1-6 meet with their groups in the Gazebo for celebration time
  • 6:50 Three Egyptian rotations begin:  1) Time with Joseph 2) Games 3) Egyptian marketplace
  • 7:45 All come together for the final Celebration along with WINGS awards
  • 8:00 King's Camp is dismissed 
     

Every service at Charity offers the following amenities and opportunities:

  • Prayer ministry: If you would like someone to pray with you after the service, please come to the altar.
  • Hearing Impaired Units are available from the ushers.
  • Tapes of sermons (entire worship service) are available by the mailboxes.
  • Nursery for infants and preschoolers is available on the lower level.
  • Children's bulletins and crayons and markers are available from the ushers.

  • Nursery attendants
  • Sunday School or Wings teachers, craftpersons
  • Ushers
  • Greeters
  • Coffee hosts
  • Special event coordinators
  • Worship artists, dancers, actors and musicians
  • Welcome Booth and office attendants

There are vital ministries both within Charity and from Charity into the community we serve, so be sure to visit with one of the staff or a Vision Council member about your interests.
