Facility Design

Facility design and decorating service ministry

During the 2005-2006 construction at Charity Lutheran highlighted an ongoing need for a permanent facility design team to oversee aesthetic choices (color, fabric, trim, flooring, furnishings, etc) and approve purchases for Charity’s facility to ensure that a consistent and unified style and ambiance is established and maintained throughout the structure.  In March 2005, the Vision Council gave its approval and recognized it as a new ministry team.

These volunteers serve Charity by ensuring that the facility exhibits an overall design/color/tone throughout the original structure and additions. To that purpose, the team my review, discuss and approve all proposed changes to the interior design, fine arts and ornamentation proposals at Charity Lutheran. All donated items for use in public areas are also subject to review by this committee. Bequests for stained glass windows and altar furnishings are also under the review of the team.

Ministry teams, staff and individuals who have ideas and proposals for design alteration of a facility room or rooms or who wish to gift a proposed interior design enhancement are encouraged to present their ideas to this team.
